☀️ OPERATION: SUNSCREEN IS NOW UNDERWAY! ☀️
Summer programming begins Monday, and that means hundreds of Club kids will be spending their days learning, playing, exploring, and making memories outdoors. But before the fun begins, we need your help.
To keep our members safe from the summer sun, the Club uses 25–30 bottles of sunscreen every single week. Providing sunscreen for hundreds of youth all summer long is a significant need—and one we can't meet alone.
That's why we're launching Operation: Sunscreen, a community-wide effort to ensure every child can enjoy summer safely.
From now through July 2, we're asking our community to donate sunscreen at any of the locations below (just look for the collection bin!):
📍 Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh (532 Broad St., Door #8)
📍 Discover Oshkosh Visitor Center
📍 Westhaven Golf Club
Can't make it to a drop-off location?
🛒 Order sunscreen online and have it shipped directly to:
501 E Parkway Ave
Oshkosh, WI 54901
💙 Or make a donation to help us purchase sunscreen and other summer essentials:
secure.givelively.org/donate/boys-girls-club-of-oshkosh-inc/operation-sunscreen
A single bottle may seem small, but together, those donations add up to weeks of protection for local kids. Every contribution helps ensure our members can focus on making memories, building friendships, and enjoying all the opportunities summer has to offer—not worrying about getting burned.
Thank you to Discover Oshkosh for creating this video and to Discover Oshkosh and Westhaven Golf Club for partnering with us to make this campaign possible.
Help us keep Club kids safe, healthy, and protected all summer long. 🌞

🌸 Empowering girls. Inspiring futures. Creating connections. 🌸
Afternoon Tea is more than a special event—it's a celebration of confidence, growth, and the incredible potential of the young girls we serve. Through our Character & Empowerment program, girls ages 7–9 spend the summer developing leadership skills, building self-confidence, and learning the value of kindness, resilience, and being true to themselves.
On Wednesday, July 29, 2026, community members will gather at the Gibson Social Club from 12:00–2:00 PM to enjoy tea, lunch, meaningful conversation, and inspiring stories from the girls whose lives are being impacted through this program.
We are also honored to welcome special guest Willow Newell, who will share her powerful message of belonging and empowerment.
Thank you to our Dreamer Sponsor, Helaine Lasky, for helping make this meaningful experience possible and for investing in the dreams and potential of local girls. 💙
